What is VibeCut?
An AI editing assistant for Adobe Premiere Pro. You describe the edit in the chat; it plans it, shows you the whole plan, and builds a new sequence once you approve.
Will it edit without me?
No. Nothing is applied until you approve the plan, and the approval covers exactly the plan you saw. There is no promise of full automation.
What happens if something fails halfway through?
An interrupted edit may leave a partial result in the new sequence. VibeCut records confirmed progress and stops when the outcome is uncertain. Recovery can require checking the project; automatic rollback is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Does my footage leave my computer?
No. Audio, video and thumbnails stay on your Mac. AI planning sends only the instruction and transcript text you approve to the AI provider. Local-only mode makes no network requests.
What does local-only mode do?
It makes no network requests. Analysis still runs on your Mac; AI planning, which needs a model provider, is not available in that mode.
Models and thinking
Which model does it use?
Auto picks the model and the thinking level for each step. VibeCut uses Anthropic's Claude models. On Pro you can choose a named model; one not yet evaluated for VibeCut is labelled that way.
What are Fast, Balanced and Deep?
Thinking levels. A deeper level takes longer and can raise the maximum charge you approve. On Auto, VibeCut chooses the level.
Hebrew
Is the panel available in Hebrew or Spanish?
The panel interface is English. Your prompts, transcripts and captions can be in Hebrew or English. This website is available in English and Hebrew.
Can it caption Hebrew?
VibeCut transcribes Hebrew on your Mac and prepares editable captions in Premiere, with a guided creation step. There is no fixed number of clicks and no fully automatic route.
Pricing
How much will it cost?
There is a free trial, then two plans, Standard and Pro, billed monthly or yearly. The Pricing page shows the launch prices and what each plan includes.
Can I use my own API key?
It is planned as an optional route, not a separate plan. Your own key does not make the request offline.
Install
Which version of Premiere do I need?
Adobe Premiere Pro 26.5 on a Mac with Apple silicon. Each release lists the versions it supports.
Does it work with Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut?
No. VibeCut works with Adobe Premiere Pro only; Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut are not supported.
How will I install it?
VibeCut is launching soon. It installs with a Mac installer that uses Adobe's supported route, including Adobe's own consent step.
